Quite a few sources of information for this website came from items bought on the online auction site eBay. For example the 1915 railway map. Listed below are live auction items that include a some of the J31 village's name in the title or description. Laughton and Aston aren't included at all because their eBay listings are mostly non J31 area (Charles Laughton, Aston Uni Aston Villa, etc.). The auction items are often things like old postcards and mining memorabilia, but could be just about anything. Just click a village name from the list below to go to the relevant up to the minute eBay listing:
Note that it downloads info from the eBay website, so may take a couple of minutes to complete for all 10 villages if the internet is slow. And if you have pop-ups blocked then they won't appear at all. And finally...there may be some misc stuff in the listings not J31 related, e.g. because there's a Harthill in Scotland.
