Fancy a beer, or some pub grub? Here's a list of most of the areas pubs, plus photos of most of them. Their names often give hints to the areas past, e.g. the Leeds Arms that are named after the Dukes of Leeds who used to live around here. There's probably around 50+ pubs and clubs (about 1 per 1,000 of the population).

Although many have struggled over the last 10 years as they're undercut by supermarket beer and face increasing costs for rates/leases/heating etc.

And RIP (as pubs anyway) - The Waleswood (Wales Bar), Lord Conyers (Kiveton), Browneys (Thurcroft) and the Falcon (Dinnington) - for since 2000 they've all either shut as pubs.
